![]() ![]() ![]() This step depends on your version of Acronis. Activate the Acronis System Recovery Manager in your booted Windows version.Type in "bootrec /fixmbr" and restart your system by typing "exit". Go especially to the command window option and run it. Navigate through to the menue to the "repair option" (it is not the installation process, don't overwrite your windows!).Boot from the drive (DVD/USB) by a change of the BIOS-Settings or an available boot menue ( continue pressing.Use a installation disk of windows (if you use Windows), if you don't have an oldschool CD/DVD drive get it copied to an USB flash drive.Steps may differ by used hardware and software. System Installation disk is from Windows 8.1Ĭouldn't imagine anything better to spend my 1st X-Mass-Holiday on :P After repeating the same procedure and a additional run of the "Activate Acronis System Recovery Manager" a system reboot with the working Acronis Loader was successful again. Something went wrong again by shutting down and restarting. ![]() ![]() I didn't, beause i want to check the stable reboot without the goorgeous Acronis Loader and ended up with the "no configuration file present" welcome screen - again. Now you should instantly run the programm "Activate Acronis System Recovery Manager" to fix the Acronis Loader issue. Everyting worked fine on Windows again (no System damage/ data loss). The PC did a restart without the Acronis Loader step. I typed in "bootrec /fixmbr" to fix the obviously messed up bootmanager, got a positive response from the system and continued starting Windows via the system disk menue. Got access to the cmd (windows command) via a windows installation disk by using the repair option. run / create the Acronis System Recovery Manager to fix the issue for the next system restart. ( I will explain how I manged it without any guarantee for your case)Ĥ. Had the same problem and was able to fix it. ![]()
